§ 54-165. Twenty miles per hour.

  • (a)

    Erie Street from a point 500 feet from its intersection with Webster Avenue shall be posted as a school speed zone with the speed not to exceed 20 miles per hour.

    (b)

    Murray Avenue between North Church Street and its intersection with Erie Street is designated as a school speed zone and the maximum speed limit at which vehicles may proceed thereon is 20 miles per hour during the period 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. weekdays and 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Sundays as authorized by Vehicle and Traffic Law § 1180(c) and by village ordinance adopted January 14, 1974.

    (c)

    Scotchtown Avenue from the village line to Murray Avenue is designated as a school speed zone and the maximum speed limit at which vehicles may proceed thereon is 20 miles per hour during the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. weekdays as authorized by the Vehicle and Traffic Law § 1180(c).

    (d)

    McNally Street 500 feet from its intersection with Crescent Drive in a westerly direction the maximum speed limit shall be 20 miles per hour and 500 feet in an easterly direction on Murray Avenue.
