§ 42-27. Obstructing streets.

  • (a)

    Prohibited generally. No person shall suffer or permit any wagon, cart, carriage or team to stand or remain in the center or across or upon any of the public streets or crosswalks or any part of the same in the village, in such manner as to obstruct the same.

    (b)

    Permit authorized. No person shall encumber or obstruct any of the public streets or crosswalks or any part thereof in the village with any lumber, boxes, barrels, firewood, rubbish, lime, brick or any other material or thing, except upon permission of and such conditions as the building inspector may provide or direct in writing on due application being made by the parties in interest.
